For Landscaping & lawn care
Be the landscaper AI recommends when a homeowner asks.
Plenty of landscaping companies run on word of mouth and a Facebook page. That worked when the neighbor's recommendation was the only recommendation. Now the homeowner also asks ChatGPT "who does landscaping in Lakeview" or asks Google's AI for "lawn care service that does weekly mowing near me," and gets a short list. A Facebook page with no hours, no service list, and three-year-old photos does not get you on it.
What AI needs to recommend a landscaping company
- Named services. Mowing, sod, drainage, hardscape, irrigation, tree trimming, seasonal cleanup. AI tools tend to match the question to the service, so if your site only says "landscaping," you miss the person asking about French drains.
- Named areas. Landscapers cover a radius, not one address. AI tools appear to look for the neighborhoods and towns you serve written down, each on its own page.
- Your own photos. Before-and-after shots from real jobs, with captions that say what and where. Stock photos give AI little to go on.
- Reviews that mention the work. "Showed up every Thursday, yard looks great" gives AI something to quote. Ask for reviews after every job, and reply to every one.
- One set of facts everywhere. Your Google Business Profile, your site, and your Facebook page should agree on your name, phone, and hours.
What SightLine builds for a landscaping company
A free demo site first, built from your photos and services. On a paid plan:
- Homepage plus nine service-by-area pages, picked from which combinations get searched most in your market (for example, "sod installation in Metairie").
- Click-to-text on every page. A lot of landscaping leads start as a call or text, often while the homeowner is standing in the yard.
- Google Business Profile setup, LocalBusiness schema, and review monitoring with alerts.
- A dashboard that tracks whether AI tools name you for your services, month over month. (The free check before you sign up compares you with two or three local competitors.)
Growth adds four pieces of content a month, auto-posted to your Google profile and social accounts, plus review request campaigns. That keeps your profile active, which seems to be one of the signals AI tools use for "still in business."
